In December, the North Pacific Fishery Management Council recommended a “reverse slot limit” of under 45″ or over 68″ for the Southeast charter fleet.  The council’s motion to make that recommendation was adopted without objection.

What does this mean to you, the sport charter fisherman? Great news!  Either you keep your one halibut if it’s under 45″, or you keep the one that is over 68″.  We think this will allow our clients a more enjoyable catching experience, while preserving our resources.
